Chive blossom vinegar. Steep chive blossoms (soaked in cold water and spun dry) in mild vinegar (I used white wine vinegar) for 2 to 3 weeks. The vinegar turns a brilliant pink hue and takes on a floral and subtle onion-y flavor from the blossoms. Makes a tasty vinaigrette. {Got the idea
here.}
